Emergence is the word used to describe what happens when a system becomes more than the combination of its pieces. A set of rules, group of animals, or collection of objects can develop special properties that none of the single pieces possess. From: Emergence: The scientific concept that explains slime, friction, and Brooklyn neighborhoods
In others words, Emergence is “higher-order complexity arising out of chaos in which novel, coherent structures coalesce through interactions among the diverse entities of a system. Emergence occurs when these interactions disrupt, causing the system to differentiate and ultimately coalesce into something novel.” (from What is Emergence?)
In this design I love the manner in which the emergent nature of the “G” at the center from an upside down “r” and a “s-like” stroke.
